Driver Frequently asked Questions
Please use this section to respond to any questions you might have. Don't hesitate to contact us by email at Drive@leaprides.com
Q: Is there really no commission ?
A: NO, and we don't plan of charging the drivers any commissions either. We are a different service, and we don't believe that a driver should work more and have more money taken from their wages. Thats what the government is for :)
Q: Do I have to wear a suit and tie ?
A: At Leap our clients request their drivers be professionally dressed. This means a suit and tie, jacket and collared shirt or slacks and a nice shirt are just fine. Our clients dictate the standards and we simply pass the message onto the driver. We also believe when someone is dressed professionally they act professionally.
Q: What if I don't want to to dress professionally ?
A: At Leap we believe people should have the freedom of choice. You don't have to dress professionally, you also don't have to drive with Leap. We hear our competitors have low standards, shorts, flip flops, and AUX cords are always welcomed.
Q: Why can't I be a driver and a passenger with Leap ?
A: Unfortunatley because of fraud, we don't allow drivers to also be passengers.
Q: Do I have to open the door for the clients ?
A: If a client requests their door to be open on entry and exit, we think this is a great way for the driver to set themselves apart from all the other app companies.
Q: If you don't charge a commission how do you make money ?
A:That's a very personal question. We prefer to get to know you better before going to second base.
Q: What is the Driver Business Commission ?
A: With the DBC is a commission, THE DRIVER earns from Leap when they refer a business account. If that company does a prescribed amount of rides or revenue per month, Leap believes the driver should also benefit. Leap will pay the driver a percentage for 90 days. We know, we know, thats awesome.
Q: Where are your offices?
A: We are located in the Falchi Building of TLC on the 3rd floor.
Q: What driver promotions do you offer ?
A: At Leap we have zero commission and offer the Driver Business Commission.
Q: How do I become a Preferred Driver ?
A: Drivers who meet client needs will have the ability to be part of the preferred driver class. This means clients can request you directly and reserve you to pick up them up. This means no down time, provide great service and always have clients.
